BridgePower Nuclear — confidential, preliminary, not for public distribution.
Click any ring of the Pearl reactor. Each layer is a deliberate engineering decision — a supply chain not depended on, a forging not ordered, a piece of civil work not built.
40 MWth / 10 MWe. A spherical reactor built from commercial off-the-shelf parts. Natural uranium, heavy-water moderated, plate-vessel construction — no HALEU, no forgings, no EPC. Truck it, drop it, power it.
Truck it.
Drop it.
Power it.
Pearl delivers 40 MWth / 10 MWe from a spherical module sized for road transport. No grid-scale civil works — truck it, drop it, power it.
Natural uranium and heavy-water moderation eliminate HALEU, enrichment, and forgings from the supply chain. COTS assemblies only.
The core ships sealed for a decade of operation. No on-site refuelling. The whole module returns off-site at end of life in a Type-B cask.
| Reactor power | 40 MWth |
| Electrical output | 10 MWe |
| Core outlet / inlet | 315°C / 280°C (ΔT = 35 K) |
| Primary pressure | 10 MPa |
| Primary flow rate | 190 kg/s |
| Steam conditions | 28 bar(a), 240°C · 17 kg/s |
| Cycle efficiency | ~25% (ACC-adjusted) |
| Fuel | Natural uranium · 2.3 t · COTS assemblies |
| Moderator / coolant | Heavy water · 5 t D₂O |
| Outer diameter | ≈ 2.65 m (road-legal) |
| Sealed core life | 10+ years |
Natural uranium + D₂O eliminates all HALEU, LEU+, and enrichment supply-chain risk.
A Calandria-style high-pressure tube becomes the pressure boundary, allowing SA-533 rolled plate instead of SA-508 forgings — no single-supplier dependency, no decade-long forging queue.
Closed Brayton-cycle air turbine driven by a D₂O-to-air intermediate heat exchanger. No condenser water loop. No site water consumption for power conversion.
Fully factory-built, modular reactor — no construction-site civil works or large concrete pours.
Off-the-shelf parts cut cost, lead time, and custom engineering — no exotic materials.
Road-legal modules with passive safety, installed in under 14 days. Sealed 10+ year core.
Our reactor team built, commissioned and operated the High Temperature Test Unit — arguably the most significant long-duration pebble-bed SMR test ever built. Operating up to 1600°C, thousands of hours of integrated-system runtime.
Pearl employs a triple-shell, spherical defence-in-depth architecture with no large-bore primary piping, a leak-tight transport-cask containment, and passive LOCA mitigation. Fundamentally safer, simpler, and lower-risk by construction.
Primary pressure boundary for the natural-U / D₂O core. SA-533 rolled plate, 0.08 m wall thickness — fully U.S. manufactured, no heavy forgings.
0.15 m wall. Gamma/neutron barrier and a secondary containment shell surrounding the RPV.
SA-516, 0.20 m wall. NRC-credited containment and Type-B transport cask — the whole module ships off-site at end of life.
Through USP&E Global, BridgePower commands access to 15 GW of owned, exclusive, and controlled gas-turbine and reciprocating-engine inventory — surplus and low-hour stock across every major OEM platform. We are technology-agnostic by design: the right machine for your site, your fuel, your frequency, and your timeline — not the one we happen to stock.
USP&E holds direct OEM relationships, owner-direct equipment positions, and exclusive brokerage agreements across the global gas-power supply chain. Whatever the project demands, we source it, engineer it, install it, and operate it.
15 GW under USP&E control — assets owned outright, held under exclusive marketing rights, or sourced direct with owners. Subject to availability at time of contracting.
Every site is unique. These illustrate typical USP&E gas-block architectures across both frequency markets. Final scope, OEM selection, and unit counts are confirmed under signed term sheet once fuel spec, ambient conditions, and grid interconnection are defined.
1× aero-derivative (~10 MW class) — e.g. Solar Taurus 60, Centrax KB7
5–8× reciprocating gas engines (1.5–2 MW each) — e.g. Jenbacher J620, MWM TCG 3020, MTU 4000 series
Bridge power isn’t bought on slogans — it’s bought on dispatch. The fleet behind every BridgePower project has been delivering for a quarter of a century.
Pick the right machine for the site — not the one a salesman is paid to push.
If one OEM is quoting 24-month lead times, we pivot to another that isn’t.
350+ engineers maintain every platform we deploy. No vendor finger-pointing.
Stock positions across the fleet mean 3–6 month deployment versus 18–24 month new-build queues.
Documentation, warranties, and performance guarantees structured for project finance.
Whatever the project demands — we source it, engineer it, install it, and operate it.
All configurations indicative. Equipment availability, OEM selection, and lead times are confirmed at term-sheet stage. USP&E operates in compliance with U.S. FCPA and OFAC; sanctioned destinations excluded.
The transition isn’t a rip-and-replace. Pearl SMRs couple directly with the existing gas block through a thermal storage loop — continuous dispatch, no stranded assets, no downtime during the shift from molecules to atoms.
